I sat down to write my first post on this blog, and, as I was struggling with how best to introduce myself, I received these photos from a wedding I did in 2005 for my friends Carolyn and Brian. It was the very first wedding I ever did on my own. It just seemed appropriate to post the photos for that first wedding on my first blog. For this wedding I drove from New York City down to Virginia in a tiny car filled with flowers and supplies. Worked in a garage with none of the things we had back in New York. It's funny, because I'm doing a wedding next month in North Carolina in quite the same way (although this time I'll be flying!)
I just moved from New York to what I believe is the most beautiful state for weddings and am excited to get started. I'll be posting regularly, so come back often for wedding stories, design ideas, anything I find inspiring, and maybe even some recipes.
